Step 5: Then go to Filter > Render > Difference Clouds. Then Press Ctrl+F three to four more times to reapply the filter.

Step 6: Go to Image > Adjustments > Levels and follow up on the settings shown (somewhat).

Step 7: Then go to Filter > Sharpen > Unsharp Mask and give the settings of:
Amount: 475%
Radius: 3
Threshold: 14

Step 8: Then apply the Spherize filter (Filter > Distort > Spherize) with an amount of 100% and then again with an amount of 50%.

Midtones: [+100] [0] [-100]
Highlights: [+70] [0] [-15]

Step 10: Use the Unsharp Mask Filter again only this time set the amount to about 300% and Threshold to 15. (Filter > Sharpen > Unshark Mask)

Step 11: Now create a new document of a size 1024×768. Fill it with Black.

Step 12: Go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise. Give the following Settings:
Amount: 4.9 (More amount means more stars)

Step 13: Duplicate the Layer and set the Blending mode to Overlay.

Step 14: Select your Background Layer again and go to Image > Adjustments > Brighness/Contrast. Increase your contrast so that the stars are visible.

Step 15: Now, go back to the burning planet document. Ctrl+Click on Layer 1 to select the planet and then Ctrl+C to copy it to clipboard.

Step 16: Switch to the stars window and paste the planet there. Make sure the planet is on top of the other two layers.

Step 17: Apply the following Blending Options (Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options).

It is really simple and provides stunning effects.

Step 1: Open any Previous image (Probably with mild colours e.g. Scenery, Grass etc)
Step 2: Filter –> Stylize –> Wind (Wind, From the Right/Left)
Step 3: Press Ctrl+F to repeat… Press again if you want

Step 4: Filter –> Distort –> Polar Coordinates (Rectangular to Polar)
Step 5: Filter –> Stylize –> Wind (Wind, From the Left/Right)
Step 6: Press Ctrl+F to repeat… Press again if you want
Step 7: Filter –> Distort –> Polar Coordinates (Rectangular to Polar)
Step 8: Filter –> Stylize –> Wind (Wind, From the Right/Left)
Step 9: Press Ctrl+F to repeat… Press again if you want

Step 10: Filter –> Distort –> Polar Coordinates (Polar to Rectangular)
Step 11: Press Ctrl+F (Once only!)
Now you should have a nice image…
Press Ctrl+U to open up “Hue/Saturation” and change the hue to get nice effects.
You can also press Ctrl+I to invert the image to get more effects.

Also experiment with the number of times you do the polar Coordinates to three or more,
But remember to restore the image by using the same filter but in reverse i.e. Polar to Rectangular the exact same number of times you did the first.

Learn to create waterfall from an existing stationary water .

Step 1:

Open a image that contains some stationary water. I have selected this image.

Step 2:

Now select the water area with the eleptical marquee tool and make the selection as follows.

Step 3:

Go to Filters>Distort>Polar Coordinates.. and use the following settings.

Step 4:

This is what I got.

You can already see the waterfall, there but those sharp edges at the starting of the waterfal llooks unreal so to fix that all you have to do is take the blur tool (R) select the brush size as 19 px.

Step 5;

Now you can see it looks better, but still at the center of the waterfall it looks a bit odd. Now we need some cloning to fix it up select the Cloning Stamp Tool (S) { size: 29pix } and ctrl+click on the right side of the waterfall to select the starting point of the Cloning. Like this

Now hold your left mouse button and brush it towards right so the cloning is done. You need some practice to get it right.

Step 6:

This is what I got after performing cloning.
