Step one:
Start with a large white canvas, in your layers window make a new layer set. Name it Custom Head Mascot Web Graphic.
Create a new layer then draw a 30 x 22 pixels, #7400FF ellipse using your ellipse tool. Use the fixed size setting under ellipse options to make the exact circle.
Add the following layer styles:

Step two:
Now make the head, first create a new layer then draw a 60 x 97 pixels, #DF87FF ellipse using your ellipse tool. Use the fixed size setting under ellipse options to make the exact circle.
Add the following layer styles:

Step three:
Create a new layer then draw a 13 x 29 pixels, black ellipse using your ellipse tool. Use the fixed size setting under ellipse options to make the exact circle.
In your layers window set the layers blending mode to soften light and add the following layer styles:

Step four:
Duplicate your glassy ellipse from step four.

Step five:
In a new layer add two black circles. This will complete the eye structure of your mascot.

Step six:
In a new layer create a 8 x 14 pixels, black ellipse. This will be the nose like structure.
Add the following layer styles:

Step seven:
Create a new layer then draw a 25 x 12 pixels, black ellipse. Use your ellipse tool to make the ellipse so you can use the fixed size setting under ellipse options to make the exact shape.

Adobe Photoshop let’s us to define our own custom brushes. Let’s see how to create our own custom brushes.

Step 1:

Start a new document of size 50×50 pixels with a transparent background. Draw a circle using the Elipse Tool (U). Holding shift while drawing the Elipse will result in a perfect circle.

Step 2:

Now select the Rectangular marquee tool and draw a vertical section ove the circle like this.

and press the delete button. Similiarly draw a horizontal selction over the circle and press the delete button. This is what I got after doing that.

We have now created our brush. Now we need to define it as a button.

Step 3:

Now go to Edit>Define Brush Preset and give it a new name.

Now our brush is saved. Now we can select the brush from other set of brush.

Use your brush and have fun. You can also use text as your brush too.

Now we see the outline of the alpahbet of ‘A’ let us make it more stylish.
again use the Ploygon lasso tool and play with it this is what i got.

Go to layer>Layer Style> drop shadow

Go to Layer>Layer Style> Inner Shadow

Start a new document of size 250×250.
We can create our shapes using the following tools

Let’s draw some shape using the rectangle marquee tool

Use the Pain Bucket tool and fill some colour into the box

Step 3:

Let’s draw some shape using the eleptical marquee tool

Use the Pain Bucket tool and fill some colour into the circle

Step 4:

Let’s use both rectangle and eleptical marquee tool to create other shapes

This is a bit tricky

draw a rectangle first and hold alt and draw circle over it using the eleptical tool and fill it with the paint tool
I got this

if u see clearly u can see the circle that i drew. I did it so that u get a clear picture.
so that’s the trick holding alt to remove the part u don’t want and u can hold shift to add the circle to the rectangle.

that’s all now it’s on keep playing with various shapes.
