Hello, My name is Allwin Samuel Jeba. This world calls me with all combinations of those three names, but I prefer to be called Jeba. I was born on 5th December 1983, I hail from Nagercoil, TamilNadu. I did my Primary schooling in Delhi and High School in Bangalore (where I currently live). Completed my 3 years Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering through M.N.T.I (M.N. Technical Institute). Currently I am doing my B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) in Computer Science from M.S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore. (M.S.R.I.T)

In the Beginning:

It all started when my dad bought a computer and bought home. It was too irresistible, as it had so much to explore. As all new kids introduced to Computers I too got stuck with gaming. Played almost all types of Games ranging from First Person Shooter to Real time strategy. But it was Age of Empires - II which made me addicted to it. Used to play this game day and night for almost two years. Later as my curiosity grew, I was fascinated by how reverse engineering worked. It used to give me thrills to crack software protection, but I have never released any cracks to the web (may be ;-)). At this point of time I realized that I am wasting my time doing this. This is when I got my internet connection at home. The curiosity again drove me into website designing (Well, I am a curious person - Heard the story curiosity kills the crow *huh?* ). Frankly speaking made my first website using MS word (don’t laugh now!!). I wish I could have shown it to you. The next adventure was hand coding using html, it was a great learning experience. Luckily it still exists on geocities. All changed when I launched my next website cooljeba.tripod.com . This was when, I actually started exploring the possibilities of making money on the Internet. I signed up for Adhearus and made my first $20. They had cut $6 processing fee and got my first check for amount $14. Submitted the check to the bank and to my shock the amount was too low to be processed by the check lol. The check still lies with me. Since I started earning, I decided to move the website to paid hosting and registered the domain cooljeba.com . It has been 3 years now, Initially CoolJeba.com was a fun for all type of website. As soon as I launched the website, I got an offer from a company to work as a graphics designer and suggested me to improve my quality. This is when I took Photoshop seriously. As I was learning Photoshop, I also wrote some tutorials and these tutorials were instant hits, generating lots of hits daily. Guess what ? I found home! This is was where I belonged. Then started writing one tutorial after another, currently it is the most successful website I own!

My Work:

After cooljeba.com’s success, I launched and sold many websites. Currently I own few websites, I had to cut my portfolio as I was not able to dedicated enough time to each website. Apart from websites, I also own a small web company called iDigitalCore.com. At iDigitalCore I provide my services to customers. Which Includes Graphic Designing, Web Design/Development, SEO etc. You can see my company website here.

As an Author:

Apart from Blogging here at Jeba.in, I have also written couple of articles for Asia’s first open source monthly Magazine Linux For You ( Electronics For You (EFY Group) ). There is also a pdf version of the article Named “ Beating the Keylogger at its Own Game “.

My Life :

People remember me as a light hearted, funny and *unique* guy. They also say I almost gel with anyone. I hate to be around stubborn, selfish and egoist people. I believe we have only one life and that is the longest thing one ever had or will have ;-). So guys and girls go out enjoy with friends.. enjoy life. kyunki ” kal ho na ho” (Because there may be no tomorrow.) :-D.

Extra Curricular Activities :

I will admit. I am not a great in studies, in the sense I just can’t sit with those boring textbooks until it is exam time. Well, regarding Extra Curricular Activities I am a Blue-one (Blue with Red Stripe) belt holder in Taekwondo. I am also a President Awardee in Bharath Scouts and Guides. You can call it a hobby, but I also used to collect stamps as a kid and have a pretty good collection of old stamps across world. No you wont see it on ebay for sale lol..

I also used to be active in sports like Hockey, Cricket, Football, Volley Ball, Kabbadi,… etc.
